Valentina Ubal, Doctoral student, Florida State University
Valentina Ubal is a second-year doctoral student at Florida State University. Her research focuses on Transformative Consumer Research, specifically financial decision-making, news consumption, misinformation, and well-being. Valentina has presented her work at the ACR Conference and was session chair at the AMA Conference. She recently published at the Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management and had her work also invited for revision at the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing. She won a grant from the ACR Transformative Consumer Research Grants in 2021 for her research on misinformation. She also reviewed for the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing.
Christopher Berry, Assistant Professor of Marketing, Colorado State University
Christopher Berry is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Colorado State University. Chris’s research interests involve consumer well-being and public policy issues. His research has been published in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research, among others. Chris received the AMA Marketing and Society Emerging Scholar Award for his research contributions advancing the study of marketing and societal issues. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing and Journal of Business Research.
Martin Mende, Jim Moran Professor of Business Administration and Professor of Marketing, Florida State University
Martin Mende is Jim Moran Professor of Business Administration and Professor of Marketing at Florida State University. He focuses on transformative consumer/service research and consumer-based strategy. His work is published in leading scholarly journals (Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, Marketing Letters, and others). Martin serves as AE for the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, Journal of Service Research, and Journal of Retailing. Martin also is the incoming Chair of the TCR Advisory Committee.
