Anaka is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Nevada, Reno. She studies mechanisms to improve health care access and improve health for people living in resource poor contexts. Her current research focuses on studying the direct and indirect impacts of policies on improving health, income, food and nutrition security. Anaka's research has been published in reputed journals such as Journal of Development Economics, World Development and Journal of Development Studies.

Srinivas Venugopal

Associate Professor of Marketing,

University of Vermont

Srini Venugopal is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Vermont. Srini’s research program examines the intertwined nature of consumption and entrepreneurship in subsistence marketplaces, where more than a billion poverty-stricken entrepreneurs run micro-enterprises to meet basic consumption needs. Srini's research has been published in reputed academic journals such as Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing and Industrial Marketing Management. Srini is an executive editor for the Subsistence Marketplaces Journal, and he also serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Macromarketing and Journal of Consumer Affairs.
